Mexican Black Beans

2 cans black beans, rinsed and drained1 3/4 to 2 c of chicken broth3 to 4 cloves of garlic, minced1 jalepeno pepper, seeded and diced1/2 tsp ground cuminjuice of 1 limecilantro for garnish
Warm oil in pan over med high heat, add diced jalepeno and garlic, saute until soft, about 5 minutes. Add beans and broth and bring to boil. Boil approximately 5 minutes. Turn down heat to med-low and use potato masher to coarsely mash beans. Cook on Med Low until liquid is boiled off and desired consistency is reached, 15 to 20 minutes. Squeeze lime juice over beans and mix, garnish with cilantro.
