Glazed Lemon Poppy Seed Bread

bread:1 1/2 cups flour1 1/2 tsp. baking powder1 tsp. salt1 tablespoon poppy seeds1/4 cup chopped walnuts5 tablespoons butter, melted2 teaspoons grated lemon rind2 eggs1 cup sugar1/2 cup milktopping:1/4 cup lemon juice1/3 cup sugar
Mix flour, baking powder, salt, poppy seeds, and chopped walnuts. In separate bowl beat butter, eggs,1 cup sugar, and lemon rind until mixed well. Alternate adding dry ingredients and milk to mixture until well blended. Pour batter into greased 9x5x3" loaf pan. Bake in 350º oven for 50-55 minutes. Cool for 10 minutes. Prick loaf with toothpick and pour the lemon juice-sugar mixture over top of cake. Cool completely and remove from pan.
