Chocolate Protein Bites (Raw Vegan)

Ingredients
6-8 pitted dates4 tbsp peanut butter10 raw almonds1/2 cup rolled oats2 scoops chocolate protein powder1 tbsp ground flax1 tsp cocoa powder3 tbsp maple syrup*1 tsp vanilla1 tsp sesame seeds
Directions
Blend ingredients in a food processor. Blend and blend until a fine grain is created and it starts to get sticky.

Press into a lined pan (either a loaf pan or a 4x4" sandwich container). Press down evenly.

Place in the fridge for 15 minutes.

Cut int squares.

These freeze great and then you can pop them out when you want a quick post workout snack.

    I keep a batch of these tightly wrapped in my freezer for "quick grabbing". I do not, however, add the sesame seeds. I am not sure why they are necessary in this recipe but I guess if you like them.... go for it :) - 1/25/18
