Williamsburg Chipped Beef Dip (with cream cheese/sour cream)

One package Philly Cream Cheese, Light, softenedOne Cp Sour Cream, reduced fatOne small jar Cured beef, thinly sliced, rinsed1/2 Cp onion, choppedOne tsp garlic powderDash of Salt/Pepper1/4 cup walnuts, chopped (optional)butter to lightly grease dishNabisco Ritz Crackers (no substitute)
Preheat oven to 400*f. Prepare small (2-3 cp) baking dish with butter, lightly grease dish bottom and sides. Rinse and drain the beef slices to rehydrate, set aside.
In a med bowl, blend the Sour Cream into the softened Cream Cheese. Add the onion, and garlic, mixing well.
Stir in the beef slices, adding salt and pepper to taste. Scrape beef and cheese dip into prepared baking dish. Sprinkle the chopped walnuts over top.
***Refrigerate if not serving immediately.
To Bake for serving: Bake in 400*f oven for 30 minutes or until top is golden and cheese is bubbly.
***Leftovers rewarm nicely in microwave, 45 sec on high.
Serve immediately with Ritz crackers (OR big Celery stix if Carbs are an issue). ~:^) ENJOY!
