Brown Soda Bread

Ingredients
250g coarse wholemeal flour250g plain flour250ml Buttermilk1 flat tsp Bread soda2 eggs
Directions
1. Rub the butter into the flour, add remaining dry ingredients
2. Make a well in the centre, and add the buttermilk, Mix very lightly,
3. shape and cut a ‘cross’ in the centre
4. Egg wash, Bake at 170°C, approx. 30-40 minutes
