Quicksand

Ingredients
1 yellow cake mix (with pudding)1 box instant chocolate pudding3 large eggs8 tbsp vegetable oilVariation (my favorite):1 lemon cake mix (with pudding)1 box instant pistachio pudding
Directions
Prepare cake mix according to package directions, using the egg and oil. Pour batter into an ungreased cake pan and bake according to package directions. Cake will stick to pan; don't worry, this is what you want. Prepare the pudding according to package directions and set aside in refrigerator. When cake is done, remove from oven, and scoop out the center into a medium bowl. Set aside to cool. Scrape out the stuck on portion of the cake and crumble into another bowl (should be very brown, but not burned). Set aside to cool. Press center portion of cake into a 9" pie plate, in the same manner as preparing a graham cracker crust. Fill "crust" with pudding and sprinkle with browned side portions of cake. Be sure to completely cover so no pudding can be seen. Cut in to 16ths and then scoop out to serve. Makes 16 servings
