Pork chops with blue cheese gravy (low carb friends)

Ingredients
2 T butter4 thick cut pork chops1/2 t ground black pepper to taste1/2 t garlic powder to taste1 c heavy cream (I used half/half)2 oz blue cheese crumbles
Directions
brown pork chops in butter until no longer pink and juices run clear. 20-25 min. Remove chops to a plate, Stir cream into the skillet and stir in blue cheese. Cook, stirring occasionally until sauce thickens, about 5 minutes. Pour over chops.
