Linda's Moroccan Style Lamb Stew

Ingredients
2 pounds cubed lamb stewing meat.2 medium sized onions, diced.about 1/4 to 1/2 pound loose pitted dates, cut in half.1/2 cup almonds, roughly chopped.1 teaspoon salt (or to taste).1/4 teaspoon fresh ground black pepper.1 teaspoon ground ginger.2 teaspoons ground cinnamon.1 tablespoon honey.1 teaspoon saffron. 3 tablespoons Canola oil.about 2 cups water.1 tablespoon sesame seeds.
Directions
1) Place everything into a medium size crock-pot. Give it a stir. (adjust water if needed. It should come to the top, but not quite cover everything.)
2) Set the crock-pot on low, and cook for about 7-8 hours.

Serving Size: divides into 8 servings.
