Whole Grain Waffles

Ingredients
2/3 cup whole wheat flour1/3 cup milled flax1 tsp salt2 tsp baking powderdash of cinnamon1/3 cup pecans finely chopped1 cup 1% milk2 tbs vegetable oil1 large egg (beat in separate bowl)splash of vanilla extract
Directions
Combine all dry ingredients in small mixing bowl. Add the milk, oil and the beaten egg. Mix well. Preheat waffle iron. Spoon batter evenly into waffle iron. This ingredient list will make 4 regular waffles.
