saute onions in pam until soft. while this is going on:
rinse beans and pick out any rocks.
dice sausage.
once onions are done to your taste, add remaining ingredients and simmer for one hour or until beans are done to your taste. ADD WATER AS NEEDED, to your taste and to keep soup from becoming too dry.
