Homemade Chocolate Cake with Chocolate Glaze

For cake1 cup white sugar1-3/4 cup all purpose flour3/4 cup unsweetened cocoa powder1-1/2 tsp baking powder1-1/2 tsp baking soda2 eggs1 cup nonfat milk1/4 cup vegetable oil2 tsp vanilla extract3/4 cup boiling waterFor glaze1/5 cup or less of semi chocolate chips1/2 tbsp unsweetened cocoa powderA splash of nonfat milk
Preheat oven to 350degrees. Spray two, 9-inch cake pans.
Combine all dry ingredients for cake in a large bowl. Mix together. Add in all wet ingredients and mix with electric beater until batter is smooth.
Pour half of batter into one cake pan, the other half in the second pan, each should be roughly half full.
Bake for 35 minutes or until center is "toothpick done".
For glaze, as the cake comes out of the oven to cool, mis the ingredients in a small stove top pan on low-medium heat. Once all chocolate chips are melted, it is ready to be spread onto the cake.
Serving Size: Makes 24 1-1/2 inch slices
