falafel burgers

Ingredients
1 15 oz can chickpeas rinsed and drained2 cloves minced garlic1/2 cup packed fresh flat leaf parsley2 Tbsp dried cilantro1/2 med. onion, finely chopped1/4 cup fresh jalapeno peppers, finely chopped1 large egg1/2 tsp salt1/4 tsp pepper
Directions
In a food processor pulse chickpeas, garlic, cumin, parsley, cliantro, lemons juice and 1 tbsp of the oil, until a thick paste forms. Transfer to a large bowl. Add onion, peppers, egg, salt and pepper and combine well. Form into 6 firm, flat patties. Fry in remaining oil. Makes 6 patties.
