Banana Nut Bread

Ingredients
Stir together flour, baking powder, soda and 3/4 tspn salt. set aside.In a mixer bowel, bead sugar and shortening with electric mixer until smooth. Add eggs, one at a time and the milk. Beat affer each addition. Add flour mixture and banana alternately to creamed mixture, beating until smooth after each addition. Fold in nuts.
Directions
Turn batter into a lightly greased (u can use Pam cooking spray) 8x4x2 inch loaf pan. Bake in a 350 degree oven for 60-65 minutes or tilla wooden tooth pick inserted in center comes out clean. Cool in pan 10 minutes. Remove from pan, cool. For easier slicing, wrap & store overnight.
Recipe makes one loaf, serving size: cut loaf into 12 slices.

    From my memery I'm going to try putting this recipe together with:
    2 C. Flour; 1 tsp. baking soda; 1/2 tsp. salt in a small bowl. Then in a bigger bowl beat 1 cup of sugar and 1 stick of butter or margerine. Adding 2 eggs one at a time. Mix well, then add 3 mashed banana's w/ milk optional 1/4 Cup - 1/26/09
