White Bean Crock Pot

Ingredients
1 bag small white beans (dry)2 tablespoons salt2 links sausage, chopped, casing removed (optional)1 large onion2 carrots1 large tomato, chopped2-3 cups low sodium chicken broth4 cups water1 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1/4 tsp poultry seasoning1/2 bay leaf2 tbs lemon juice
Directions
soak dry beans in 8 cups water with 2 tbs salt
drain beans, rinse, and put in crock pot
add all ingredients except lemon juice
cook on low for 8 hours or until beans are soft
remove bay leaf and add lemon juice
