*Shortening, Crisco, 16 tbsp (remove)Milk, 1%, 1.5 cup (remove)Granulated Sugar, .25 cup (remove)*Flour, white, 2 cup SELF RISING.
PUT FLOUR AND SUGAR IN A BOWL. MIX IN SHORTENING AND CRUMBLE IT UP TILL IT LOOKS LIKE SMALL PEAS.ADD MILK SLOWLY, IN THE CENTER THROW FLOUR FROM THE SIDES INTO THE MILK. KEEP DOING THIS UNTIL THE MILK IS NOT LOOSE ANYMORE AND IT IS MIXED WELL. USE YOUR HANDS AND ROLL SMALL PORTIONS INTO A BALL.SET BALLS ON A PLATE UNTIL YOU HAVE THEM ALL MADE UP. THROW BALLS ONE AT A TIME INTO CENTER OF THE POT OF THE READIED CHICKEN AND GRAVY BOILING. THEY WILL SINK TO BOTTOM THEN FLOAT UP PUSH THEN TO THE SIDE OF THE POT. KEEP ADDING THEM AND PUSHING THEM ASIDE AFTER THEY FLOAT UP, UNTIL ALL HAS BEEN ADDED. TURN HEAT DOWN AND COVER LET SIMMER LOW FOR 10 MINS. TURN HEAT OFF AND LET STAND FOR ANOTHER 10 MINS. STIR AND EAT.
