1 C. Water1 C. Cider Vinegar1 C. Splenda1 Tbsp. Whole Allspice Berries1 Tbsp. Whole Cloves1 Tbsp. Ground Nutmeg1 Tbsp. Ground Ginger6 Apples - Peeled, Cored, & Sliced1/2 C. Lemon Juice
1. Place the water, cider vinegar, Splenda, allspice, clove, nutmeg, & ginger into a small saucepan, & bring to a simmer over med-high heat, stirring until the Splenda dissolves.
2. Meanwhile, toss the sliced apples with the lemon juice, & pack into two sterilized 1 qt. canning jars with lids & rings. Pour the boiling syrup over the apples, & affix the lids & rings.
3. Allow the jars to stand at room temperature until cool. Once cool, press the top of each lid with a finger, ensuring that the seal is tight (lid does not move up or down at all). Place in the refrigerator, & wait 1 week before opening.
