Cake:2 bars (50g) Moser Roth Premium 83% Dark Chocolate (Aldi)2 TBSP I can't believe it's not butter light3/4 cup boiling water3/4 cup white sugar1/4 cup skim milk1 egg1 tsp vanilla extract1/2 tsp almond extract1 cup flour1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp saltGanache:3 bars (75g) Moser Roth Premium 83% Dark Chocolate (Aldi)1/4 cup Half-andn-Half
Cake:
Break chocolate into small pieces, add butter and cover with boiling water. Stir until smooth and melted. Add sugar, milk, egg, and extracts. Combine flour, soda, and salt. Beat until blended.
Bake in 9" cake or pie pan coated with cooking spray. 350 for 18-22 minutes.
Ganache:
Heat half and half just until boiling. Remove from heat and pour over chocolate. Stir until melted and smooth. Cool for 10mins until thickened. Poor ganache over cooled cake. Refrigerate until serving.
Serving Size: Makes 12 slices
