Baked Garlic Parmesan Breaded Chicken

1 lb chicken breasts2 tbs extra virgin olive oil1 cup bread crumbs2 cloves garlic1/2 cup grated parmesan1 tsp dried basil leaves1/4 tsp ground black pepperSalt and Pepper to season chicken before breading
Preheat oven to 365 and prepare a glass or corningware type dish. Pour oil into a bowl and grate garlic cloves directly into the oil. Combine bread crumbs, parmesan, basil leaves, pepper in a shallow bowl. Cut chicken breasts in half, so you should have 4 split breasts (1 lb total). Season the chicken breasts on both sides with salt and pepper. Dip each breast in the oil/garlic and coat thoroughly. Then dip in bread/cheese mixture and coat thoroughly. Bake for 25-40 minutes depending on thickness of cuts.
