Crushed tomatoes, 2 large cans1 cup cold water 2 cans Red Kidney Beans, drained and rinsedOther beans can be used if red ones not available.2 cloves of garlic1 small onion ( minced)2 Tablespoons Extra Virgin Olive oiladd Oregano or your favorite spices for taste.for more salt add garlic or onion salt for more flavor, or some fresh cilantro for a mexican twist.
Add olive oil, minced onion, and crushed garlic to a pan and saute until lightly browned. set aside.
in blender add rinsed beans and water, blend till pureed. Mix all ingredients together and bring to boil then simmer covered for 5 -10 minutes.
