Fresh Ginger Bread

Ingredients
5 Tbsp unsalted butter3 Tbsp fresh ginger puree (look in the produce section)1/2 cup honey1/2 cup molasses1/2 cup lowfat sour cream1 1/2 tsp baking powder1 Tbsp pumpkin pie spice1 cup whole wheat flour1 cup all purpose flour
Directions
Melt butter and ginger together in saute pan for a few minutes, set aside. In a medium bowl, beat honey and molasses together until blended, then add ginger and butter mixture, then sour cream, beating well after each. In a large bowl, mix dry ingredients thoroughly. Add the wet mixure in increments using a large spatula; like muffins, some dry lumps are fine, you don't want to overmix this. Spread in a greased bread pan and bake at 350 for about a half hour. Serve warm with ice cream or whipped cream. Serves 10.
