Thai Shrimp Soup with Lime

1 tbl olive oil3 tbls minced fresh ginger (optional)1 small onion, thinly sliced5 cups low sodium chicken broth1/2 tsp red pepper flakes3 cups napa cabbage, thinkly sliced1.5 pounds uncooked, peeled, deveined shrimp2 tsps grated lime zest1/4 cup fresh lime juice
5 (1 cup servings).
Heat oil in large suacepan over medium heat. Add ginger and onion; cook, stirring often, until fragrant. Add broth and red pepper flakes. Increase heat and bring to a low boil.
Add cabbage and cook for 2 minutes. Add shrimp, lime zest and lime juice. Cook until shrimp turn pink. Serve hot.
