Paleo- Slow Coker Beef Stew

Ingredients
Beef, stew meat, 1 lb Water, 4 cup Bay Leaf, 2 leavesKale, fresh, 1 bunchCarrots, raw, 4 large Celery, raw, 4 stalk, large Onions, raw, 1 large Diced Tomatoes, 1 can
Directions
Season beef with salt and pepper.

Heat oil over medium high heat. Brown meat on all sides. Add to bottom of crock pot. Layer carrots, celery, onions, cabbage, and bay leaves. Add tomatoes & tomato juice. Pour in enough water to cover. Cook on low 6-8 hours or on high 4-5 hours.

    Good! I added parsnips to make it more filling and dry red wine, garlic, and rosemary for flavor. I also skipped the kale because I didn't have any. - 7/26/13
