3 cups flour1 Tablespoon Baking Powder1/4 cup sugar1 teaspoon salt12 ounces light beer, room temperature1/4 cup butter/margarine melted
Heat oven to 375 degress. In mixing bowl, combine dry ingredients. Add beer all at once, mixing as little as possible. Batter should be lumpy. Pour batter into a greased loaf pan, then pour melted butter over top. Bake 35 to 40 minutes or until toothpick inserted in center comes out clean,. Turn out on rack to cool. Makes one loaf. 10 slices
