Peanut butter fudge

Ingredients
1 1/3 cup peanut butter3 cups sugar3 cups milkBring to a boil then turn down the heat to medium and cook for apx an hour and a half. Stir often, especially after the first 45 minutes, to keep from scorching. After 50 minutes, drop a bead of the hot mixture into cold water. When you pick up the bead, if it is hard and firm, it is ready. Remove from the heat and add:3 tsp vanilla8 TBLS butter or margarineImmediately pour mixture onto a buttered cookie sheet and refrigerated until it's firm enough to cut with a knife.
