Granny's Homemade Biscuits/Scones

Ingredients
2 cup flour, all purpose, white1 cup milk6 Tbsp salted butter1/2 tsp salt2 tsp baking powder
Directions
ALSO ADD: 1/2 tsp salt and 2 tsp of baking powder to flour and mix while dry. Melt butter. Add to dry mix. Then add milk.Turn out on floured surface. Pat out to about 1 inch thickness. Use biscuit cutter or glass to cut out. Bake in preheated oven at 425 F 20 - 25 min or until golden brown. Serve with butter and jelly, or sausage gravy.
