Sweet & Sour Chicken

Ingredients
2 large boneless skinless chicken breasts, chopped into bite sized pieces(Cut up pieces of pork can also be used)onion salt, salt and pepper to tasteBrown in a small amount of oil.Sauce:1 can pineapple tidbits, reserve juice½ C white sugar1/4 C. brown sugar2 T. cornstarch½ C. cider vinegar2 T. soy sauce1/4 t. ginger1 t. chicken bullion, or 1 cube1 large green pepper, cut in thin slices1 med to large onion, cut in thin rings
Directions
Drain pineapple, reserve juice.
Add enough water to juice to equal 1 1/4 C.
In sauce pan combine sugars, cornstarch, pineapple juice, vinegar, soy sauce, ginger and bullion. Cook and stir til sauce begins to thicken.
Pour over simmering meat.
Add onion, pineapple and green pepper.
Cook til barely cooked.
Serve over hot, fluffy rice.
