Clean Eating Hearty White Bean Chili

Ingredients
1 lb. bag of great northern beans (16 oz)4 cups chicken broth2 cups chopped onion3 large garlic cloves minced2 tsp ground cumin1 1/2 tsp oregano1 tsp ground coriander1 jalapeno chopped finely1 banana pepper chopped finely2 lbs boneless turkey breast or chicken breast grilled and cubed1 tsp sea salt
Directions
place the beans in a soup kettle or dutch oven and add enough water to cover the beans by two inches. Bring the water to a boil, let it boil for 5 minutes, then remove from heat and set aside (covered) for an hour. drain and discard liquid.

Put the beans in a slow cooker or in a large pot. add the chicken broth, the onions and garlic, the peppers and the seasonings. cover and let it go on the low slow cooker setting for 7 hours... or let it simmer at a low boil on the stove for a couple hours til the beans are almost tender. add the meat and sea salt and simmer another hour until the beans are truly tender.
