Tomato Cheese Bisque

Ingredients
3 Tbsp. butter1 sm. onion1. md. carrot1. stalk celery1/3 c. flour4 c. whole milk1 28oz. tomato puree1/2 jar (3 oz.) tomato paste1 tsp. basil & thymesea salt to taste1/2 tsp. worcestershirepepper to taste1 c. cheese (optional - calories not included here)
Directions
In a 4-quart saucepan, saute vegetables until tender. Combine milk & flour until smooth. Slowly add to saucepan, stir. Add remaining ingredients except cheese. Simmer for 20 minutes. Add cheese & stir until melted.
