CP Honey Lentils

Ingredients

lentils, onion, carrot, water, soy sauce, ginger, spices
--1 1/2 cups lentils
--3 cups water
--1/2 red onion, diced or dry onion
--1/2 cup shredded carrot (= 2 medium carrots)
--1 tsp salt
--1 tsp dried mustard
--1/4 tsp ground ginger (fresh is shown in the picture, but it was all black and nasty when I peeled it)
--2 T soy sauce
--1/3 cup honey or Agave syrup
Wash the lentils and put in the crock pot together with the 3 c of water.
Add the shredded carrots and oninons, soy sauce and the rest of the ingredients and cook on low for ~3-4 hours. Done! Eat with brown rice or quinoa and serve a portion of green veggies on the side!
