savory beef stew

Ingredients
Beef, tip round, 20 oz, cut into pieces Baby Carrots, raw, 25 medium Onions, raw, 1.5 medium, chopped *Potato, raw, 2 medium, peeled and chopped Soup, bouillon cubes and granules, low sodium, dry, 1 teaspoon Hot Water, tap, 2 cup (8 fl oz) (remove) Bay Leaf, 3 leaves Bacon, 4 medium slices, cooked and crumbled *Flour, white, .25 cup 1 TBS seasoned salt salt and pepper to taste
Directions
Combine the flour with the seasoned salt. Dredge the beef in the flour. Cook the bacon until crisp and crumble. Leave 1 TBS of bacon grease in the pan and brown the floured beef pieces. Put the beef in a crockpot. Add hot water to the beef boullion and stir to dissolve. Add this to the pan used to brown the beef and scrape up the bits from the bottom of the pan. Add to the crockpot. Add carrots, cut up potatoes and onions. Add the bay leaf, season with salt and pepper. Stir to combine. Cook on high 4-6 hours, or low 8-10 hours.
