Homemade Oatmeal Cereal Bars

2.5 cups old fashioned oatmeal1 cup chopped walnuts1 cup slivered almonds (or chopped)20 dry roasted peanuts broken in half and chopped1/4 cup sunflower seeds, unsalted1 cup raisins, unpacked 1 cup honey 3 small green apples, peeled and cut in small pieces1 cup (8 oz) waterJuice from 1/2 lemon
In a large mixing bowl add oatmeal, walnuts, almonds, peanuts, sunflower seeds and raisins. Mix together. Set aside.
In a blender combine apples, water and lemon juice. Pulls or blend until combined.
Pour the apple mixture over the dry ingredients and mix all together until well combined. Add in honey and blend again.
Preheat oven to 350F. Line a 9 x 12 baking sheet with parchment paper. Scoop your mixture into your parchment lined pan. Press the mixture firmly and evenly into the pan.
Bake for 25 minutes. Cool in the pan until room temperature. Remove from the pan and cut into 40 squares.
Serving Size: Makes about 40 squares, 1 square is a serving
