Grammas' Carob Chip Cookies

1 cup sesame oil1 cup brown sugar1 tsp vanilla1 cup applesauce2 cups whole wheat flour1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp salt1 cup carob chocolate chips1/2 cup raw sunflower seeds1/2 cup ground flaxseed
Makes 48 cookies
Preheat over to 350 degrees.
In a large bowl, add the sesame oil, the sugar, the vanilla and the applesauce.
In a separate bowl - combine the flour, baking soda, salt (optional), carob chocolate chips, the raw sunflower seeds and the ground flaxseed.
Add this mixture to the oil and sugar mixture.
Drop by the teaspoonful onto a cookie sheet leaving about 2" between the cookies.
Bake 10 - 12 minutes until golden.
