Red Ripe Tomatoes, 2 large whole (3" dia) Cucumber (with peel), 2 cucumber (8-1/4") Parsley, 0.5 cup Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) Black Olives, 3 jumbo,sliced Olive Oil, 0.5 cup Garlic, 2 clove ,crushedCider Vinegar, 0.25 cupSalt, 1.5 tbsp Pepper, black, 1 tbsp Sumac, 1 servingRomaine Lettuce (salad), 2 cup, shredded Bread, pita, whole-wheat, 1 pita, large (6-1/2" dia)
-toast the pita bread and break it into small pieces.
-chop the tomatoes,onion,cucumber,lettuce,black olives & parsley and mix together in a large salad bowl.
-add the toasted bread pieces.
-in a small bowl, mix the crushed garlic,lemon juice, vinegar,salt & pepper & sumac together and olive oil and mix very well.
-pour the dressing on the mixed veggies and mix throughly and serve immediately.
