Wheat flour, white, all-purpose, unenriched, 0.5 cup *Sooji, 0.5 cup Rice flour, white, 100 grams Nandini curd Net 500 g, 100 gram(s) Baking Powder, 0.5 tsp Salt, 1 tsp Coriander leaf, dried, 2 tbsp New Saffola Gold oil, 200 gram(s) Onions, raw, 1 medium (2-1/2" dia) *asafoetida (hing), 4 grams *Green Chili Peppers, canned, 0.2 cup
1) In an iron kadai, dry roast rice flour, maida and sooji for 5 minutes on a medium heat. Keep aside for cooling.
2) Make a soft dough with all the ingredients and keep aside for 20 minutes. Do not add extra water. Dough should be soft.
3) Divide this dough into 10 equal portions. Make round balls and flatten into round shape.
4) Heat oil in a kadai. Deep fry vadas on a medium heat (2-3 at a time) in batches till golden color on both sides.
