Ground Turkey 1lb1 cup raw carrots chopped1 cup yellow onion, chopped1 cup celery, chopped2 cans diced tomatoes (no salt added)1 can red kidney beans1 can white kidney beans2 cans (30oz) tomato sauce64oz low sodium chicken broth1-3 tsp Tabasco sauce (to taste)3-5 tsp Oregano (to taste)Parsley (to taste)1 cup dry Smart Taste elbows or shells
Brown meat in skillet (I usually skip this step). Place in bottom of crock. Add rest of ingredients, except pasta. Cook on low 8 hours or high 6 hours. Add pasta in last 10-20 minutes of cooking (depending on whether there is a boil going). You can add parm. cheese or bread to serve (not calculated in nutrition facts).
