pumpkin bread

Ingredients
1 cup flour1 cup packd brown sugar1/4 tsp. baking soda1 tsp. baking powder1/2 tsp. salt1 tsp cinnamon1/4 tsp. ground cloves1/2 tsp. ground nutmet2 eggs1/2 cup milk (can use skim, if desired)1/3 cup shortening1 cup pumpkin1 additional cup flournuts raison or other chopped dried fruit, as desired
Directions
mix 1 cup of flour and all dry incrediants together. Add pumpkin, egss, shortening and milk. Mix with electric mixer. Mix in second cup of flour. When well mixed stir in walnuts and/or raisins if desired. Pour into greased, floured loaf pan. Bake for 50-60 minutes in 350 degree oven.
