Baked cheesy spaghetti squash

Ingredients
8 cups cooked spaghetti squash1 large can tomato sauce1 tbsp canola oil3 cups chopped onion1 medium yellow pepper, chopped2 medium tomatoes, chopped120 grams shredded cheddar cheese1 cup parmesan cheese1 tbsp garlic powder1 tbsp Italian seasonings1 tbsp roasted garlic and pepper seasonings1 tsp sugarsalt and pepper to tastepinch of red pepper flakes
Directions
1. Halve spaghetti squash and bake, cut side down in 375 degree oven for about an hour. Scrape strands and measure out and set aside.
2. Meanwhile, in heavy large saucepan cook chopped onion in canola oil. When softened, add chopped peppers and tomato. Add tomato sauce, sugar and seasonings of your choice.
3. Mix tomato sauce, cheeses (reserve a bit for the topping) and spaghetti squash.
4. Bake in 375 degree oven for half an hour.
