Healthy Pumpkin Muffins

1 c. unbleached white flour1/2 c. whole wheat flour1 c. canned pumpkin (e.g. Libby's)1/2 c. white sugar1 tsp baking soda1/2 tsp baking powder1 tsp ground cloves1 tsp ground cinnamon1 tsp ground nutmeg1/2 tsp ground allspice1/2 tsp salt1/3 c. vegetable oil2 eggs
1. Preheat oven to 350 degrees F (175 degrees C). Grease 10 muffin cups or line with paper muffin liners
2. In a large bowl, stir together flour, sugar, baking soda, baking powder, cloves, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice and salt. In a separate bowl, beat together pumpkin, vegetable oil and eggs. Stir pumpkin mixture into flour mixture until smooth. Scoop batter into prepared muffin cups.
3. Bake in preheated over for 20-25 minutes, until a toothpick inserted into the center of a muffin comes out clean.
