Ingredients
1-1 lb pkge GV BROWN LENTILS, DRY2 tsp Sea Salt1/2 tsp Dry Mustard1 tsp Chili Powder1 tsp Paprika1 tsp Dry minced Garlic1/2 tsp Celery seed2 tsp Arrowroot flour or corn starch1 Tbsp Coconut Oil1/4 cup chopped Green Peppers 1/4 cup Onions.,chopped1 6 oz can HUNTS TOMATO PASTE1 tsp Honey1 1/4 cups water
Directions
Rinse lentils and pick out any foreign matter (pieces of rocks) and place in a pot, add water and bring to a boil-lower temp to a simmer.Cook 55 minutes or until the
lentils are soft. While the lentils are cooking, melt coconut oil in a saucepan. Saute green peppers and onions, add tomato paste, honey and water.In a small bowl, mix all the dry ingredients. Stir into tomato sauce mixture. When lentils are soft and water is absorbed stir in the dry ingredients.
Serve on whole wheat hamburger rolls or on rice.
