3 Step Chili

Ingredients
. 3 bell peppers. 1 jalapeno pepper. 3 cloves of garlic (or however many cloves you prefer). 1 medium onion. 20 ounces extra lean ground beef (again, amount set to your preference). 3 medium red-ripe tomatoes. 2 portabella mushrooms. 1 can of red kidney beans. 1 package of chili mix
Directions
1. add diced peppers, garlic, and onion into the pot with 1/2 cup of water on high heat. let cook for 5 minutes
2. add ground beef, letting it brown in the pot
3. add the rest of your ingredients along with 2 cups of water. place lid on pot and let cook for 20 minutes
