Great Great Grandma's Sage and Onion Stuffing

Ingredients
1/2 stick butter3 onion3 8 0z packages mushrooms1 package plain stuffing/bread cubes/croutons2 tbs Salt 2 tbs pepper2 tbs garlic 6 tbs sage
Directions
melt the butter in a skillet. Add onions and mushrooms. season with the salt pepper and garlic. Fry til onions brown slightly.
In large mixing bowl with lid add the skillet contents to the plain cubes, with the sage. Shake to mix and stuff in turkey. any excess stuffing can go around the turkey in the roasting pan.
