Orange Cream Cheese Bread (Cake)

8 oz. cream cheese, softened1/2 c. shortening1 2/3 c. sugar2 eggs22 1/4 c. flour1 tsp. salt1 Tbsp. baking powder1 c. whole milk1/2 c. chopped walnuts2 Tbsp. orange zest1/4 c. orange juice
Grease and flour 2 loaf pans or one Bundt pan. Preheat oven to 375^. Beat cream cheese and shortening until light and fluffy. Add sugar and mix until smooth and creamy. Add eggs one at a time, beating well after each addition. Sift flour, salt and baking powder and add alternately with the milk. Stir in the walnuts and orange zest. Pour batter in prepared pan and bake 375^ for 55 minutes.
