Strawberry Cake & Pie Topping

Ingredients
2 cups fresh or frozen strawberries (unsweetened), sliced1 1/2 tsp. cornstarch1/4 cup water2 tsp. Splenda
Directions
Place strawberries in top of double boiler. Cook over boiling water until soft and juicy. Blend cornstarch and (cold) water. Add to strawberries. Cook until clear and slightly thickened. Remove from heat and add Splenda. Cool before using.

Yield: 1 1/2 cups (3 servings)
