Ingredients
4 cups whole wheat flour1 cup cold applesauce unsweetened3/4 cup granulated splenda2 cups boiling water3/4 cup molasses1 tablespoon baking soda2 tsp cinnamon1 tsp ground ginger1/4 tsp nutmegcooking spray
Directions
For crumbs mix flour, applesauce, cinnamon, ginger, nutmeg and splenda with pastry blender. Set aside 1 cup of crumbs for the topping. Mix the boiling water, molasses and baking soda' , add the crumbs and mix well on low speed. Pour into 13" x 9" sprayed and baking pan. Sprinkle top with the cup of reserved crumbs. Bake at 350 45 min or until toothpick comes out clean.
