Curried Venison

Ingredients
2 T. butter1 med onion, diced1 lb. ground venison1 T. curry powder1.5 tsp salt1/8 tsp black pepper1 clove garlic, minced2 cups chopped tomato (or 14 oz. can of diced tomato)2 med potatoes, diced 1/2 inch cubes2 cups frozen peas
Directions
In a large, deep skillet, saute onion in butter and then add venison. Brown meat thoroughly.
Add curry powder, salt, pepper, garlic, diced tomatoes, and potatoes. Mix together. Let simmer for 25 minutes or until potatoes are tender/firm.
Add frozen peas. Heat through.
Serve over rice.
