Whey Protein Waffles with Sausage-stye Spices

1 tsp Grapeseed oil-to lubricate waffle iron3/8 cup (6 Tbsp-usually 2 scoops) Whey Protein Powder1 Egg3 Egg equivalent of EggBeaters1 tsp Baking PowderSeasoning to make it more sausage-like1 Tbsp Nutritional Yeast1/2 tsp Onion Powder1/2 tsp Garlic Powder1/4 tsp Ground Sage1/4 tsp Fennel1/8 tsp Pepperdash Cayenne PepperI should have used salt.
Preheat waffle iron.
Mix protein powder, egg, Egg Beaters, and baking powder using an immersion blender. Be sure not to leave the protein powder wet too long without mixing it or it will clump terribly.
Add the seasonings. Mix again.
Pour about 1/4 in each section of the waffle iron.
Cook until the steam subsides, any sooner and they will deflate. The waffles will have a bunch of gaps in them.
Serving Size: Makes 4 thin 4 inch waffles
