Cheesy Chicken Biscuit Bites

Sausage1 lb. ground chicken1/2 tsp. dried sage1/2 tsp. dried marjoram3/4 tsp. dried thyme1/4 tsp. ground cayenne pepper1/4 tsp. ground allspice1/4 tsp. freshly ground black pepper3/4 tsp. kosher salt1 garlic clove, finely minced or pressed1 Tbsp. maple syrupBiscuit Mix1 cup flour3 tsp. baking powder2 Tbsp. canola oil1 tsp. salt3 oz light cheddar cheese1/4 cup skim milk
Preheat oven to 375 degrees.
Lightly mix all sausage ingredients together until the herbs/spices are well incorporated – make sure you don’t over mix!
In mixing bowl combine flour, baking powder, salt and oil. Mix on high for 1-2 minutes or until crumbly.
Combine sausage mixture with biscuit mix adding milk and cheese. Mix by hand until just combined.
Cover baking tray with tinfoil and spray with cooking spray. Roll into meatballs. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from pan and cool on baking rack.
