Carmen's chicken noodle soup

Ingredients
2 cooked and shredded chicken breasts1 raw medium carrot1/4 cup chopped onion1/4 cup diced celery1 clove garlic, minced4 cups chicken broth1 cup egg noodles4 cups water
Directions
Cook chicken breasts and shred or chop into small pieces. Heat broth and water to boiling. Chop carrots, onions and celery and mince the garlic. Add the vegetables and the chicken to the broth mixture. Cook until the carrots and celery are almost soft (~10 min). Add the egg noodles and cook as per package directions (~10 min). Season with pepper and salt as needed.
