Spanish Paella

Ingredients
3 skinless chicken breasts1lb pork breakfast sausage, bulk2 Red or Yellow Bell Peppers, chopped2 8 oz cans tomatos, diced1 sm onion, chopped1 garlic clove, minced1 tbsp butter1 tbsp olive oil1 tsp salt1/2 tsp black pepper1 tsp ground turmericBrown Rice, cooked
Directions
Cube chicken breasts into bite size chunks. Melt butter and olive oil in large skillet. Saute chicken until cooked through. Remove from pan. Saute sausage until cooked through, add chopped onion and peppers. Cook until tender. Add chicken back to skillet. Add salt, pepper, turmeric. Stir well. Add minced garlic and saute 1-2 minutes longer. Add 2 cans diced tomato's, stir well and simmer 20-25 minutes. While paella is simmering, cook brown rice according to package instructions. When rice is finished, plate rice and spoon paella over rice. Serves 6.
