Teresa's Turkey & White Bean Soup

Ingredients
16 oz. package dried Northern Beans (white)8 cups low sodium chicken broth1 cup chopped onion1 cup chopped celery4 turkey sausage links, sliced then cut in half (half moon shape)1 cup chopped kale (or other green like chard or spinach)1 bunch fresh thymesalt & pepper to taste
Directions
Place dried beans, broth and remaining ingredients (except kale) into a crock pot. Leave thyme on stem. Cook on low for 8 -10 hours. Add kale during last 30-60 minutes. Remove thyme stem before serving.
